Jeppe Sleeping

The exhibition presents a series of intaglio prints all revolving around the same motif, Jeppe that is sleeping. The sleeping person is a classic motif in art history, but in Jeppe Sleeping the gaze different, it’s about the love and desire between two men.

The works were made at the Danish Art Workshops with generous support from the City of Copenhagen, Danish Arts Foundation, Danish Tennis Foundation, Faroese Culture Foundation, Faroese Ministry of Culture and New Carlsberg Foundation.
